Salute To The 80’s By Marina Rinaldi
Intense geometries, bright colours and flashes of white and ultra-graphic black. This is the starting point for Marina Rinaldi’s Pre-Fall 2018 special project, styles inspired by the illuminating creativity of architect Ettore Sottsass.
The lines are fluid, softened in the contours and enhanced by the importance of padded shoulders. The skirts are knee- or midi-length, to be combined with cocoon jackets, light bomber jackets or knitwear that wraps the body, like trousers, even in a cropped version.
