Limitless horizons. The oblique light and the wind raising the sand create geometries that engage with stylized, minimal desert flowers. The Max Mara Leisure Beachwear Collection takes its inspiration from the movie atmospheres of “The English Patient”, bringing a contemporary spin to Sahara style, conjured up by the neutral hues and bright colours reminiscent of the lively souks of the Mediterranean.
Touches of vibrant, Mediterranean shades, with an explosion of fuchsia, cornflower blue, green and floral patterns all over the costumes, low-cut dresses and long dresses, with colours drawing their inspiration from the busy markets of Moroccan cities.
The Collection plays with shades of white, sand, olive and black, alternating with floral and “spot” prints and extra-fine stripes, which, together with dashes of tan, khaki green and burnished red adorn and illuminate costumes and beachwear.
The various reversible, high-performance costumes, both one and two-piece, feature belts at the waist and tortoiseshell resin rings that weave a fil rouge through the Collection and are also found on costumes and beachwear.
This is the triumph of the summer, rising temperatures, the pleasure of clothes so light you can barely feel them and the confidence of having time on your side.
The enveloping items in the collection are fashioned in natural materials – cotton, pure silk and linen – that offer protection from the heat and bring grace to the movements of the wearer.
