New Designer Capsule Collection

Marina Rinaldi has chosen Roksanda Ilinčić as a guest designer for the next two seasons.

“There’s a message that I would like to send to all the Marina Rinaldi women: fashion is fun, so embrace femininity in all its forms with joy. And let yourself be carried away to a dimension of playfulness, of adventure”, explains the designer, one of the most significant on the international scene with her ROKSANDA line.

For Roksanda femininity is courageous, strong and sculptural,

and she defines it using intense shades like burgundy, ochre, pink, red and black combined in colour contrasts that become poetry.

The silhouettes are willowy, the volumes sophisticated and the fabric flows across the body underscored by soft, long flaps of fabric that unroll from the neck down the hips.

And it is precisely these ribbons of fabric that inspired the staging of the presentation, which develops around a centre occupied by a sinuous pink metal element.

Another key element of the project is knitwear, designed by Roksanda in an elaboration of original geometries.

The pure double knit camel coats are her personal tribute to the know-how of the Max Mara group, which Marina Rinaldi is a part of.
