Marella ART.365 x Elena Toscano
Marella ART. 365 is the line created in 2014 to intercept and pander to the rhythms and lifestyles of the contemporary woman, translating Marella’s refined style into a new way of experiencing fashion on a daily basis.
The uniqueness of the collection lies in the simplicity of a casual luxury formula capable of renewing itself every season: a single seasonless fabric proposed on minimal silhouettes and highly attractive designs.
A project that has established over the years an indissoluble union between the brand and the world of art, thanks to the collaboration with artistic and eclectic personalities.
The name of the collection is a never unfulfilled promise of everyday elegance, to be worn 365 days a year: a graceful yet sensual femininity, thanks to details that aim to emphasise the forms that accompany every woman’s body.
A body that is consecrated in its marvellous heterogeneity with the Shapes in motion patterns by Elena Toscano, a Milanese artist and illustrator who has devised anthropomorphically inspired graphic patterns. In macro and micro variants, multicoloured and in black and white versions – the marks take up moving shapes that reflect the dynamism of the Marella woman.
Patterns and colours come together in harmony as in a dance. And if the allure of the graphic motifs cannot go unnoticed, even the iconic garments of the collection captivate thanks to clean cuts of great modernity, cut outs and oblique slits that allow a glimpse of the skin.
In the season’s palette we find the unavoidable black and white, accompanied by hyper-feminine nuances on a color scale ranging from the warm embrace of rust and camel to cooler, trendy tones such as purple and pink.
