Kenesha Sneed is a multi-disciplinary artist born in Pasadena, California & raised in the High Desert. After studying motion graphics at Otis College of Art and Design, she’s since worked as Art Director, illustrator, Designer & Visual Creative Director for “Call Your Girlfriend”. In 2014 she launched Tactile Matter, a collection of objects which translate concepts from her design practices and highlights the nuances of representation through her creative lens.

She combines the colors of the earth and of powders to create a perfect palette for Marella, for a woman ready to kick off her summer on the road with functional and transforming garments. From the cargo pants turning into bermuda shorts, to the over shirt that can be worn also as a jacket, from the long dress with straps to the parka in technical fabric, from the reversible body to be used as a swimsuit or as a top with the carrot pants, to the long or short jumpsuit. Dresses designed, built and colored for a new summer.

The earth-colored fabrics with abstract drawings that narrate imaginative landscapes, sketches of elegant, discreet and sinuous women who wear the monochrome swimsuit of the collection repeated endlessly. Kenesha Sneed brings Marella into her world, made of digital creativity and refined craftsmanship, an artist who goes from pixels to ceramics and vice versa because her expressive urgency has no boundaries, but a common denominator: speaking to women.
