A daydream in the midsummer days. This is the new mood of Midsummer Bliss, the new Capsule Collection for Spring/Summer 2022. It was created by Pennyblack in collaboration with The Ladies’ Room, a Milan-based collective of four young designers.

Their emotional, sensory approach to creativity is founded on cross-pollination and sharing — in perfect synergy with the brand’s vision.

The collection showcases an exclusive pattern, originating from a collage featuring a variety of textured materials. This collage was based on organic elements and objects from the designers’ personal collections. The pattern evokes a lived experience of glasses after a toast placed down on a dining table, along with exotic seashells against a 3D-look background. Dreamy sunlight and Pop Art colors convey a summertime atmosphere. Relaxed silhouettes drape across the body. Crisp poplin is used for shirt dresses, tunic dresses, wide-leg trousers, shorts and shirts, while T-shirts are made from cotton jersey.

Laidback, vibrant pieces can be mixed and matched or worn together for a bold complete look, perfected with a one-piece swimsuit and shopper bag.
