Max Mara Bridal for Yes I Do Catwalk

For the fifth consecutive year, Yes I Do Catwalk by ghd was carried out with great success on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. The show was dedicated to the children of Make-A-Wish Greece. Yes I Do brought together leading designers and international artists who presented their latest collections on the stage of the Dais Theater.

60 of the most beloved celebrities of Greek showbiz walked the stage under the direction of Thanos Gomozias, reserving the audience a surprising performance!

Max Mara Bridal who participated for the third consecutive year on Yes I Do Catwalk by ghd opened the show with Katerina Geronikolou, followed by Elli Tringou, Elena Galifa, Dora Panteli and Fotini Darra who walked in a spectacular Great Gatsby show, wearing unique creations from the house.

The long sleeveless tulle dress with ostrich feathers and degradé effect features hand-embroidered beads at the bottom.

The silhouette is accentuated by a matching gros grain ribbon belt.

A thin metal headband with a gold finish, embellished with a leaf motif featuring crystals in natural colors was tied in a bow for a perfect fit and a crown effect.

Elli Tringou in Max Mara Bridal Elba Trouser Suit in woven jacquard.

A two-piece suit in woven cotton and silk jacquard with bark effect. The long one-shoulder top features a stitched pleat detail and deep asymmetric slit that creates a sculptural volume.

Matching wide leg trousers with inset side pockets.

The floral brooch composed of small, raw-cut silk chiffon petals and the gold-colored jeweled comb, embellished with leaf motif with buds and enchased crystals completed the look adding a touch of radiance and romanticism.

Elena Galifa in Max Mara Bridal Cloruro Jumpsuit in cady and pleated tulle.

A bustier jumpsuit in heavy cady with carrot fit trousers and inset side pockets. This piece is embellished by pleated tulle panels that cover the bustier front creating an original tutu effect.

The ribbon belt in panné velvet accentuates perfectly the waist.

The jeweled fabric headband embroidered with small crystal-colored rhinestones completed the look adding a “Great Gatsby” touch.

Dora Panteli in Max Mara Bridal Lucerna Dress in duchesse.

This long sleeveless couture style dress is made from double layer duchesse and has a sculptural effect, with inset side pockets.

The wide silhouette with offset back creates a soft tail at the back that follows the movements of the body.

A long white veil with curl motif was combined with a grosgrain ribbon belt, decorated with small, pure raw-cut silk chiffon petals. A versatile accessory to be worn around the waist or as a garland in the hair.

A long column dress with a slight fishtail in heavy cady with satin button detail on the shoulder.

The minimal design is enhanced by a deep U back veiled with a tone on tone tulle double layer.

The fascinator headband in pleated fabric with an irregular design enriched by a golden metal macro clip brooch with crystal appliqués.

Max Mara Bridal presented a range of modern creations with classic references, inspired by the elegance of ballet, perfect for the contemporary bride.

Once again, the Italian house, with its unique touch, is able to satisfy the needs and desires of the brides of today by bringing together refined fabrics, precious details, modern elegant designs and their usual savoir faire.
