The Ashley Graham for Marina Rinaldi capsule collection debuts in Milan
The Milan Fashion Week in September is the setting for the launch of the Ashley Graham for Marina Rinaldi capsule collection signed by the American model and influencer, which will be on sale in stores from mid-January 2018 and that marks an important development for the brand.
For the first time the name of the special guest appears alongside that of Marina Rinaldi in the logo. And for the first time in the brand's history, the capsule collection will also play a leading role in the Marina Rinaldi SS 2018 institutional campaign, precisely to underline the innovative nature of the project.
At the centre of the design is the casual and brazen femininity of Ashley Graham, transformed into a series of versatile garments that are ready to be reinterpreted by every woman in her own style.
The collection, heavily focused on luxury denim, was created by the brand's design team in a continuous and lively dialogue with the influencer, seeking to convey her positive, sensual and disruptive personality.
The denim apparel was developed using new materials (denim jersey and super stretch denim) to leverage their comfort and modern nature.
Completing the capsule are stretch leather jackets as well as tops and skirts made with scuba fabric, while the details define the deluxe character of the project thanks to buttons personalised with Ashley Graham's signature, innovative zip sizes and rear waistband labels in pre-treated black leather.
The colour palette features the different shades of denim - from indigo to light blue, depending also on the different fabric weights and treatments - and is rounded out with white and black.
